Vienna October 19: COPE-27 unite for the first time!
COPE will be the biggest pilot project in European journalism education so far: Our MOOC will soon be available in all EU languages, and provide country-specific contents for all EU member states. Selected modules will have “local windows” providing country-specific contents (in terms of impact of cohesion policy on local contexts, in terms of local media ecosystems and audiences, etc.). Thus, 27 COPE MOOCs will soon exist to make sure there are no language barriers for future European journalists to access – and connect via – this platform.
In order to facilitate the roll-out of the English pilot MOOC into 27 national versions, we have composed a distinguished network of journalism schools, media institutes and journalism experts – the COPE-27! Please find an overview of all COPE roll-out partners here (INSERT LINK to relevant sub-site).
All COPE-27 partners will meet for the first time on the occasion of the EJTA Conference 2023 in Vienna. Prof. Dr. Susanne Fengler, project co-ordinator: “Journalism institutes and EJTA members from all 27 EU states have jointly created this MOOC. We all share one goal – promoting even more cross-border collaboration and professional coverage of European issue in a future generation of European journalists.”
